Search for a technical partner co-founder

Just because your potential business partner or specialist has a good track record and is interested in your project, it does not mean that he or she is the ideal candidate for your goals.

First, make sure that the candidate, at a minimum, shares your values in work and life. Next, you can ask a few questions to reduce the number of candidates and choose just the right one

  • Ask the candidate to show you their previous jobs, even the ones that didn't become successful. What he thinks, why they failed, whether he made conclusions.
  • Try to find out if your potential partner is respected among his peers, how he is treated by the professional community. Flip through his social media pages.
  • If you are not competent in IT, ask the founder of a successful IT project to talk to your candidate, even if it's not a full interview, but an expert in the field will be much easier to make some kind of judgment and share it with you.

These questions will help you avoid the risks and misunderstandings that sometimes arise between co-founders.
