Natalie Sherimbetova. Being visible on the road to success.

Natalie Sherimbetova. Being visible on the road to success.

What is it for?

Visibility creates opportunities to obtain investment, an audience and sales faster. As they say, the sooner the better.

The name of a start-up company says little to the consumer. But making that name memorable can be done through a credibility-building strategy. And it is the founder of the company who is the first to actively pursue this goal. By inspiring and delegating, of course.

We have reached a time when the words "mission" and "company values" are no longer "copy-paste", but are directly linked to the ideology of the product. This is what will help you stand out from the copy-paste crowd.

For example, there are enough platforms offering to host video content, but only Youtube "gives everyone the opportunity to learn more about the world around them and express themselves." (the purpose of Youtube) And does it work?

Executives of established companies looking to scale often smiled at my "simple" question "What's the mission and values?", not considering it important. In fact, the answer to this question is the starting point for building your entire future campaign and brand.

People will always want solutions, not a product or service. Shift your focus from the product to the solution, and there will be value. For example, "we're not just an online cosmetics shop", but "we give samples of all our cosmetics with delivery to the address within 1 hour". You get the gist. The main thing now is to stick to this line. Winning your customer's trust is a thorny path, but if you go to the stars, may the force be with you ;)

And remember, the value of your company is how much you solve your client's problems. It helps to create a content strategy to be visible. How to be visible?

Create content.

According to marketing studies, 80% of people like to learn about a company, a brand through online content.

Who can write content?

Renowned marketer, Neil Patel, says that there are a growing number of in-house writers now, also content is being created by executives, freelancers, affiliate sites, agencies. (Be sure to google Neil Patel).

Maybe someone is annoyed by Gary Vaynerchuk (who has created his own brand of entrepreneurial expert), it's because Gary's content is every three to six hours online. Every day, Gary!

His tactic is simple, all his interviews, conversations with start-ups, speeches, etc. are recorded on video, audio, and posted. And he's listened to by millions. I recommend you watch Gary Vaynerchuk on YouTube :)

What kind of content?

Blog, video content (video on a landing page increases conversion by 80x), hashtag campaigns help generate user-generated content (google successful examples for interest), create stories (storytelling), and through stories make promises to your audience.

Remember the beautiful example of the shoe company TOMS. "You buy one pair of shoes and TOMS sends the other pair to charity." There's a story and a promise for you here. Although their charity is subject to criticism, sales are coming in.

And as you're on your way to becoming one, nurture your loyal community. Whatever your company does, even if it's producing innovative light bulbs, you can start building a community of conscious consumers of electric light bulbs and go in the direction of protecting the environment♻️

To sum up, how to be visible is up to you, but before you start, answer these questions:

  • for an existing company - What is the mission and values?
  • for those with a business idea so far - I'm doing it for what? To do what?
