How do you find someone you can rely on to help your business grow and develop? Interviewing, starting to work together and adapting can all seem daunting for aspiring entrepreneurs.

We've put together some tips for those looking to find an expert in their startup

  • Find someone who is passionate about your business idea. Enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and a passion for the idea of growing your business is an advantage for your project.
  • Don't get hung up on the experience and high qualifications of a potential employee. Look for someone who has potential. Such candidates are highly motivated to become something more.
  • Don't rush the decision to hire a professional. Your employees shape the company's vision and corporate culture. Ask yourself what kind of corporate culture you would like to create in your company. The candidate should not only have relevant skills and abilities, but also personal qualities. Make sure the candidate shares your values and will fit in with the team.
  • Look for someone in an area where you are not strong enough to delegate these tasks.
  • Keep in mind that you need to think in terms of perspective. Would you like to hire an employee you can trust with challenging tasks. Make sure the candidate makes good, not easy, decisions.
  • Let the potential employee know what you expect from him or her. What the roles and tasks are for him or her. Tell them what results you expect from the professional's work.
  • If you are the founder of a start-up, consider offering the professional the role of founder and partner. This could bring good results for your company.
