Growing strawberries in greenhouses

Project summary

Project: Growing everbearing strawberries in greenhouses using Mittlider technology.

The project is currently in the implementation phase. The design of a 6x14 m greenhouse has been calculated, materials have been selected, and construction and operating costs have been calculated. The project is planned to include two-tier shelving, drip irrigation, and further automation of processes.

Financial indicators:

• the cost of building one greenhouse is about 2,000 USD ;
• the cost of launching one greenhouse, taking into account working capital, is about 2,500 USD ;
• planned average net profit is about 1,000 USD per season from one greenhouse (conservative estimate);
• further scaling of the project through profits and construction of new greenhouses.

I'm seeking investment of $5,000–$10,000 to launch my first two greenhouses. After seeing the results of the first season, I plan to expand production.

I design and manufacture metal structures myself, which allows me to significantly reduce construction costs.
