Construction of plants for processing mixed and non-liquid plastic waste into alternative energy sources;
According to a preliminary estimate, the number of such factories in Ukraine should be from 7 to 8.
An industrial plant for the production of solid alternative fuel of 20,000 tons/year in the city of Yamnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk region is proposed for investment. • Amount of investments – UAH 19.1 million; - 24% per annum in hryvnia; - 15% per annum in dollars; • Payment % - quarterly; • The minimum check for investment is $50,000; • The minimum term of investment is 3 years; • Investor participation is passive.
• The main consumer of alternative fuel (RDF) will be PJSC "Ivano-Frankivskcement"; • In March 2024 preliminary negotiations were held between the cement plant and Standard Re-Oil Company LLC, and as a result, a memorandum was signed (provided for review by potential investors) on cooperation in the supply of 20,000 tons of alternative fuel per year; • As an alternative consumer, it is planned to establish cooperation with the "Podilsky Cement" plant; • The term of implementation of the construction of the plant for the production of alternative fuel is 3-6 months.
Experience • In 2021, the first industrial facility in Ukraine, Thermion, with a capacity of 5,000 t/y, was launched for the processing of plastic into alternative energy sources and petrochemical products, which is still operating today; • Video of the factory at the link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oL1fQVfClos; • Thermion became the first site on the basis of which a number of technical and technological solutions for mechanical processing and chemical processing were implemented, tested and developed on an industrial scale; • New products, machines, technologies were developed; • On the basis of the R&D center in Vinnytsia, in cooperation with scientific staff of KPI, research and development of new technological solutions for mechanical and chemical processing of plastic is carried out every day.
