Project summary

The SMF project creates a unique national farm network and infrastructure for integrated network farm services. The target market share of milk network CMF ⎯ 10% of milk processed in 2030 due to the escalating number of own and franchise farms. The SMF format increases efficiency and reduces the payback period of investments in dairy farming. The initiator receives income from the sale of SMF milk to processors and comprehensive provision of farms with feed, veterinary care, heifers, equipment and training programs. The team and the project owner have 10+ years of experience in dairy farming. An advisory board is created in the project, which will be transformed into a supervisory board in the future. Project indicators: ▪ in 2020 UAH 96.6 million in revenue and UAH 22.2 million in net profit; ▪ as of June 30, 101 farms are operating and 1 cluster has been created; ▪ UAH 14.4 million was attracted from small investors ▪ in 2021 it is planned to attract UAH 75 million from investors and increase the number of clusters to 10. The initiator of the project UkrMilkInvest acts as a curator of the SMF and provides:

• Selection of farmers
• Material and expert support in preparing the farm for opening
• Financial advice on conducting activities and processing documents for compensation
• Organization of cluster infrastructure development
• Logistics and sales of milk

To ensure the rapid pace of opening new farms, cooperation agreements are concluded with individual regions and OTGs.
