Project summary
Project concept
Sewing Spaceis Ukraine's first single digital B2B/B2C ecosystem and portal for the textile and garment industry. The platform is designed to unite sewing and cutting shops, ateliers, private craftsmen, clothing brands, local designers, as well as suppliers of fabrics, accessories, and sewing equipment.
The main goal of the project is to digitalize the clothing market, eliminate fragmentation, and create a transparent environment for rapid placement of orders and sales of materials.
Market problem and solution
Current problems in the industry:
- Chaotic search and fragmentation:The search for contractors, sewing shops, or raw materials now takes place in disparate ways in Viber chats, Facebook groups, and Telegram, without guarantees or ratings.
- Capacity downtime:Garment manufacturers face seasonal declines in equipment utilization and personnel downtime.
- Frozen capital:Remains of fabrics and accessories accumulate in the warehouses of suppliers and workshops.
- Lack of standards:Younger brands and designers lack quality technological documentation, technical data sheets, and regulatory framework.
Sewing Space solution:
- The only verified catalog:Database of workshops, craftsmen, and suppliers with filters by capacity, specialization, and reviews.
- Operational B2B chat & Tenders:Interactive board for instant search of free sewing lines for urgent batches of clothing and quick sale of leftover raw materials.
- Marketplace of documents and knowledge:Database of ready-made technological charts, warehouse tables, regulatory literature, and training courses for the sewing business.
Platform modules and ecosystem
- Contractors and suppliers directory:Convenient search with filtering by equipment type, batch volumes, and region.
- Real-time module (B2B chat):Customers place urgent requests ("1000 shirts in 2 weeks"), and workshops with free capacity take them to work in minutes.
- Digital Knowledge Marketplace:Download templates, datasheets, and standardized forms.
Market potential assessment
- Total market volume (TAM/SAM):Over$567M— the volume of clothing production in Ukraine.
- Target audience:
