Project summary

Problem
A teenager speaks English 1–2 hours a week, only in class. There is no practice between lessons, progress is not noticeable, motivation drops, and students drop out in the first months. Parents pay monthly, but see no results. The teacher spends unpaid hours checking homework.

Decision
An online school where a live teacher teaches lessons on Google Meet, and AI works between lessons and behind the scenes:
• the lesson is recorded, AI summarizes: new vocabulary, grammar, mistakes of each student;
• The AI trainer practices the material of his lesson with the student and corrects his typical mistakes, adjusting the language to the level (A1–C1);
• AI prepares a draft of the homework check and a new assignment, and the teacher only confirms;
• parents receive progress reports on Telegram.
What sets us apart from the free ChatGPT is the context: AI knows what happened in the lesson and where a specific child is making mistakes, and the final word always belongs to the teacher.

What has already been done?
• Own platform: website, student, teacher, manager and administrator accounts, schedule with automatic Google Meet links, homework, CRM applications and Telegram bot.
• AI module works on real lessons. AI costs for the first week were $0.29.
• Free level test with funnel analytics (Google Analytics).
• Brand and 3D mascot, sealenglish.school website.
• First student in regular classes and first trial lessons. Student feedback: "The teacher was awesome, explained briefly and clearly."
• First advertising test (post in the Telegram channel of preparation for the NMT, 1,000 ₴): 53 passing of the level test for ≈19 ₴, 2 applications, 2 trial lessons.

Market and mass
English is the most popular elective subject in the NMT: in 2026, 112 thousand participants chose it. The cost of preparation increased by 19.6% per year, the full course costs over 30,000 UAH. We work online throughout Ukraine and for Ukrainians abroad. Prices at the market level: mini-group 270–300 UAH per lesson, individual 420–450 UAH, preparation for the NMT 270–300 UAH.

Scalability
Infrastructure almost does not increase in price with growth: about 3,500 ₴ per month for up to 150 students. AI costs about 3% of the check. The main limitation of any school is the time of teachers, and it is this time that AI frees up: less routine means more students per teacher without losing quality. The platform can be developed towards other subjects and a product for other schools.

Economy (forecast)
Average check 2,520 ₴ per student per month, marginal revenue about 55%. In the base scenario, operating profit from the 8th month, 71 students and about 1.16 million ₴ of revenue for the first year. The forecast is based on working assumptions that we check on the first 100 applications. The full financial model in Excel is available to the investor.

Investment
We are looking for $5,000 for marketing (the first 100 applications and students), legal structure (LLC, contracts) and content. Funds are received in tranches according to milestones. There is a stop rule: if the cost of attracting a student exceeds 3,500 ₴, we do not increase the advertising budget. The investor receives a monthly report: students, revenue, cost of attracting, churn, AI costs. The share and format of participation are discussed.

Team
Founder Oleksandr Zimin: product, development, marketing. Teachers work as sole proprietors at market rates. Sales manager joins as the number of students grows.
