The plastic waste recycling business is profitable and promising, as recycling products (polyethylene in granules, polypropylene, etc.) are in great demand among manufacturers of building materials, machinery and other products that contain these elements. It is especially advantageous to recycle plastic bottles, because they are much easier to sort and sort. The first step in implementing a waste management business plan is to obtain an environmental opinion and a license. Once you have them, start looking for a suitable room. It should be at least 200 square meters, and it is desirable that it be located in the industrial part of the area or even outside (but not too far). Secondly, take care of the search for equipment - it is manufactured in Ukraine and abroad (how much it costs, will be said below). Processing technology looks like this: -Crushing material. Here the material is crushed into crumbs. -Agglomeration - sintering of crumbs into small lumps. The product after agglomeration can already be sold, but often it is also granulated. -Granulation, which allows you to get clean and high quality raw materials that can be sold more expensively. At the initial stage, be sure to decide what exactly you will recycle and to what extent, because the recycling of plastic waste involves the selection of the necessary equipment. And it is impossible to make this choice without first determining the volume and type of material. First of all you will need a crusher and an agglomerate - these elements will cost you 30 thousand hryvnias. The staff should consist of three people: a foreman and two ordinary workers. In addition, the costs of obtaining licenses, fire services, taxes, etc. Also costs include: -Payment of utility bills; -Accrual of wages to workers and masters; -Taxes; -Service; -Materials and other costs. All this will cost about 40 thousand hryvnia per month. Together, it will take about 150 thousand hryvnias to open a business. For a month, provided the sale of granular plastic, the waste processing business will bring in 200,000 hryvnias, but this is not a net profit. The initial investment will pay off within one month, but only if you can successfully process and sell all the raw materials, so take care of the preliminary search for buyers. You can buy plastic at waste collection points, or by organizing your own. In general, the net profit per month will be 80,000 to 150,000 hryvnias.
