Department of Cosmetic Orthopedics

Considering the large number of people (especially young women) who want to have beautiful and long legs, it is planned to open a department of cosmetic orthopedics, one of the goals of which will be to provide services to such clients. The department can be opened as part of one of the private clinics, where there is a hospital (beds), anesthesiology and radiology department. The number of beds can be 5-7.

The operation is performed sparingly. Through a skin incision up to 1.0 cm, the bone is crossed and then the desired beautiful correct shape of the limb is given (most often it is the lower leg), -O-shaped ("legs with a wheel") and -X-shaped deformities are eliminated, if the client wishes, an increase in length is possible limbs up to 10.0 cm and more.

This category also includes people after injuries with incorrectly fused fractures (deformity of the limb as an outcome of the injury) and non-fused fractures of the limb bones.

A very large proportion of patients are people with severe arthrosis of the knee joints (pain in the knee joints, limitation of their function) who are offered to "change the joint" to an artificial one. The best alternative (while preserving the "native joint") is our technique.

The client stays in the clinic for up to 3-4 days. Further observation can be done on an outpatient basis.

In the future, it is possible to expand the department to 12-15 beds and increase the volume of services provided: treatment of bone defects, false joints, limb contractures (limitation of movement in the joints), multiple congenital and acquired deformities and shortening of the limbs.

The big advantage is that customers can be people between the ages of 4 and 80.
