Project summary
The project is aimed at solving the environmental and energy challenges of the city of Kharkiv by creating a modern solid waste processing complex.
Budget from $500,000
Main areas of activity:
• sorting of MSW and sale of secondary raw materials (plastic, glass, ferrous and non-ferrous metals);
• production of RDF fuel — an alternative substitute for coal for cement plants, CHP plants and other industrial enterprises.
Project assets:
• privately owned production facilities;
• a 5-hectare land plot on the territory of a former waste incineration plant in Kharkiv.
The estimated payback period of the project is from 1.5 years and depends on the amount of investment involved.
