INNOVATIVE WASTE-FREE PRODUCTION OF LAND MOLLUSCS

COMMERCIAL PROPOSAL

In order to make a profit, we propose to consider the possibility of participating in a project aimed at the European market.

The essence of this project is to create an innovative farm for the production of meat and slime of snails that are in increasing demand in the European and Asian markets.

To carry out this activity, we have concluded contracts for the supply of snail slime in the amount of 600,000 euros, prepared the location of the farm with the appropriate infrastructure, the possibility of heating in the cold season and labor resources

Also, negotiations were held with European (Cyprus) suppliers on a full cycle of launching 5 innovative closed-type farms with an area of 5 hectares. Package Included:

1. A greenhouse complex with a control and maintenance system for an optimal microclimate and humidity.
2. Broodstock in the amount of 1200 kg. per hectare of usable area.
3. European documentation and licenses.
   

Estimated investment calculation:

The cost of one complex for growing a snail is 28,500 euros

The cost of one installation for collecting mucus -7 800 euros

28,500x5 = 142,500 euros

7 800x3 = 23 400 euros

142,500 + 23,400 = 165,900
Investment amount = 165,900 euros
The maximum payback time for this project is 18 months, of which 6 months, the installation of the complex and the preparation of the project for launch.

Based on the calculation of the minimum prices in the market and the minimum output for the first year of operation, we assume the following figures for 18 months:

Snail mucus - 12.5 tons at a price of 15 euros per kg. - 12500x15 = 187500 euros

Live snail - 70 tons at a price of 2.2 euros per kg. - 70,000x2.2 = 154,000 euros

With this option, the amount of working capital will be

187500 + 154000 = 341500 euros

Also, at the initial stage, we are considering the option of making 70,000 cans of canned snails with a shell in 0.75 l glass. at a price of 4 euros per piece. Which is 70,000x4 = 280,000 euros

In the second option, the amount of working capital will be

187,000 + 280,000 = 467,000 euros

Both options guarantee a return on your investment and benefit.

For comparison, the largest snail farm in Europe is located in the Kharkiv region, it is located on 30 hectares. open ground and produces up to 300 tons of marketable snails per season, which requires much more attention from the staff, and is also subject to great risks from birds, insects and the influence of adverse weather conditions.

Considering that this high-tech project has no analogues in Ukraine, it provides for a purely export of products and is not subject to customs duties, for the first year we only plan to export raw materials, in the future there will be a transition to the production of finished food products, including a group of delicacies, cosmetology, medicine and veterinary medicine with high added value and clients of the European, Middle East and Asian regions. To implement this idea, we have already held consultations with foreign partners and received a principled agreement on the purchase of finished products.
