Production of energy-efficient panel infrared heaters that consume 450 watts, but emit 1650 watts of thermal energy (infrared radiation + convection).
Project summary
Production of energy-efficient infrared heaters, which, with a consumption of 450 watts, are capable of heating a room up to 20 square meters with heat losses of no more than 75 watts per square meter and a ceiling height of no more than 2.5 meters. The total thermal power consists of infrared radiation from the surface of the heater and convective flows that arise near the heater plane and behind it (full power calculations are available). Our own technology for manufacturing a carbon-based heating element has been developed, and the new coating is also capable of generating a larger infrared flow than analogues, and the heater mounting has also been substantiated for better convective exchange. The project participated in the technological startup competition and was selected for the finals of the Sikorsky Challenge Ukraine 2019 competition. There are some nuances that can be corrected by having a team of educated specialists. Regarding the justification of the full power of the heater, please contact the author of the project, as well as competitors, who do not often explain why 500 watts is enough for 15 square meters of area.
