Project summary

Modern utilization and recycling of textiles is currently only at the very beginning of its development.

Recycling of textiles now is mainly either second-hand, which chokes on items from the mass market every day (thanks to the "fast" fashion, when collections appear not just once a season, but almost every week), or rather expensive pleasure in the form of a large production with plucking, razvolokonenny, chipper machines for the production of new materials from used textiles, both non-woven and new fibers.

Basically, we need a whole new industry dedicated to textile recycling.

On average, it should look like

- collection of textiles

- a part goes to second-hand shops (because the average cycle of clothes in modern fashion is to put on a thing 4 times ... and throw it away, well, there is also recycling)

- some of the textiles should be upcycled.

- and only completely unusable, worn-out things or those that have gone through 1-2 rounds of upcycling should be recycled for the production of new fibers by scutching-disassembling machines.

I'm in the upcycling business.

From old clothes that have not yet lost their strength,

- new patchwork fabrics

- bags are produced

- furniture and decorative fabrics can be produced

- warm clothing, eco-fur can be produced

- ... as well as much, much more.

So for the organization of the "upcycling" point and the development of the textile processing industry, I am looking for a partner and investment.
