cogeneration (electricity and heat) from agricultural waste
Project summary
The company "Patriot" is an enterprise that develops and manufactures heat engineering devices for the agro-industrial complex in the field of alternative energy and operates throughout Ukraine.
The enterprise has its own capacity that provides a full cycle from development to manufacturing, as well as installation of heat generating systems for heating and drying agricultural products and uses agricultural waste as fuel (straw, corn and sunflower tops, etc.)
The Patriot company has developed a cogeneration system for agriculture. On the basis of the farm, electric and thermal energy is generated using agricultural waste (straw, corn and sunflower tops) as fuel. Electricity can be used for one's own needs and there is the possibility of connecting to the "green tariff".
Thermal energy is a side effect and can be used both by the manufacturer for his own needs, and there is the possibility of connecting to an "unregulated tariff", that is, connecting a heating main to a rural school, kindergarten or village council building, and the like. According to the "unregulated tariff", it is possible to receive money from the state for the heat carrier from 10-30% lower than the cost of gas in gigacalories. It is possible to generate cold.
The cost of a cogeneration system is $ 1 for every 1 watt of electricity.
