Project summary

The factory is intended for processing, preparation for salting (marinating) of the product, its smoking and subsequent packaging and storage. The factory has all the necessary permits for the production premises, equipment and all types of products.

Currently, the factory works with supermarket chains, where it supplies its products.
The range of products includes fillets, steaks and cuts of cold-smoked salmon and tuna, cuts of cold-smoked shark fish, cold-smoked mackerel, horse mackerel and cold-smoked sardines, smoked cheeses of various brands and other gourmet products. The entire package of permits for both goods and the factory is available.

The factory consists of:

hangar-type industrial premises with an area of 80 sq.m and a height of 8 m. It includes:

- room

- office

- toilet

- dressing room with shower for staff

- storage warehouse for finished products

- a zone for preparing products for salting and smoking

- zone of smoking, ventilation-drying and storage of finished products

- area for cutting and packing finished products

There is also a ramp for unloading and loading goods and a common parking lot for cars.

The factory is formally ready for work, but in fact it is at the stage of completion of the project and its launch! All equipment is field-tested, tested and ready for scheduled launch! The products have been certified in the laboratories of the city of Albir and Alicante for quality, shelf life and trade permits.

Factory Capabilities:

The factory is designed to process fish in the amount of 4000 kg per month with staff working in two shifts. A shift consists of two people: a shift leader (foreman) and one assistant. In some cases, it is possible to attract an additional worker.

CALCULATIONS:

The trading margin for raw materials is 100%. If we take the average load of the factory per month, then these are workers of 2000 kg. The most popular product is salmon. We buy it for 7.00 euros 1 kg. The carcass on average weighs from 5 kg to 8 kg. Waste from production (head, skeleton, tail, etc.) in general by 30% of the total weight. It turns out a carcass (in the form of two fillets) ready for work, the cost price is 9.30 euros per 1 kg. We add packaging to this price and we get the cost of the product in the region of 10.00 euros per 1 kg. We sell wholesale from the factory 20.00 euros 1 kg. In total, for the purchase of 2,000 kg, 20,000 euros are needed. Sales per month of the finished product at a price of 20.00 euros per 1 kg = 40,000 euros in revenue.

The cost of producing this product per month is 8,000 euros (electricity + water + salary + taxes). Net income per month 12,000 euros. From 3,000 kg - income 19,000 euros, from 4,000 kg - 28,500 euros.

TOTAL per year expected revenue with 2000 kg of goods per month - 240,000 euros, Income - 144,000 euros.

But there is a factor when supermarkets and bases make payments with a delay of 45 days, then easily attracting credit funds can cover bank costs.

The production cycle, depending on the products manufactured, ranges from 3 to 6 days.
Payback of the factory: 4 years with the production of 2000 kg of product.
