We propose to develop a product that will help to reduce the number of accidents caused by the driver falling asleep while driving.

Problem
More than 1.2 million people worldwide die in road traffic accidents every year and another 20-50 million are injured. Due to the physical fatigue of the driver, in particular, falling asleep while driving, 21% of the total number of accidents occurs.
Why now?
In most parts of the world, the epidemic of road traffic injuries continues to grow.
Nowadays there is an active search for solutions that allow us to deal with the causes of road accidents. And there is no better time to tackle this global problem than here and now.
Solution
We propose to develop a product that will help to reduce the number of accidents caused by the driver falling asleep while driving.
Product
1. Mobile application running on Android and IOS.
2. A wrist device (fitness bracelet, smart watch and / or any other similar device) that is synchronized with the application via Bluetooth.
Allows, based on the received data on the driver's state through a wrist device, to activate the sound signal in case of falling asleep.
Traction
We conducted a survey, which showed that out of the 10 drivers surveyed, 6 people were interested in the application, 3 people would download to try and 1 person did not find the idea worthwhile.
Competition
Unlike existing solutions, the key difference of our application is its availability.
Our application will have small boundaries of availability and cost for absolutely all road users.

Our application will implement two modes of use:
1. Free-mode
2. Subscription (no ads + additional features of our application)
An additional source of income for our application will be the availability of free-mode ads.
Our product is designed for a wide audience of drivers aged 16 and up to 60+ years, as well as for organizations involved in transport activities for implementation in production. Our product is designed for distribution all over the world, in particular the CIS, EU, America, Asia.
The consumer of our application will be able to download it to their smartphone via Google Play and the App Store. It is assumed that 0.5-1% of the total world population (≈75.9 million users) will use our application.
