INNCORN is an innovation in the agricultural sector of Ukraine

Project summary

INNCORN is an innovative solution in the development of the agricultural sector on the territory of Ukraine of vertical-horizontal farms: hydro- and aeroponic production of ecologically clean, healthy (without pesticides) food products.

The aim of the project is to provide consumers with fresh, high-quality fruits, vegetables, and greens grown in ideal conditions, by implementing the latest smart technologies without harming plants and the environment in a smart, efficient and environmentally friendly way.

Project goals:

1) growing and providing consumers with high-margin, light low-water crops, such as: cilantro, basil, arugula, lettuce, spinach, strawberries, the method of hydro-aeroponics;

2) distribution of products exotic to Ukraine, in particular, vitragrass (wheat sprouts), from which green juice is made, which is useful for health;

3) introduction of an automated intelligent smart-climate system;

4) maximum use of alternative types of energy: creation of a mini solar power plant on the territory of the greenhouse complex;

5) to establish partnerships with different categories of consumers.

Project objectives:

1). Repair the existing building for the greenhouse complex.

2). Purchase and install equipment.

3). Purchase the necessary sowing materials (seeds) and fertilizers.

4). Buy agricultural equipment.

5). Implement a microclimate system.

6). To equip a mini-laboratory for sampling on the territory of the greenhouse complex.

7). Carry out work on product promotion (marketing).

- fast food establishments;

- recreation centers;

- rural livestock sector;

- distributors;

- eco-shops;

- catering and others within the expansion of production in Ukraine.

The economic indicators of the project are designed for a greenhouse complex with a total area of 170 m2. The first 2 years of renting the room is completely free.

TOTAL investment: 130,000.00 dollars, including:

- Equipment - $ 90,000.00.

- Renovation of the premises - $ 30,000.00.

- Marketing - $ 5,000.00.

- Other consumables (agricultural equipment, fertilizers, seeds) - $ 5,000.00.

Fixed costs - 60,000.00 dollars / year

Variable costs - $ 16,000.00 / year

Sales - 295,000.00 dollars / year

NPV - $ 80,000.00 / for 3 years

IRR - 16%

Payback - 1.64 years.

The innovativeness of the project involves the future construction of a mini solar power plant, which in turn will not only cover the cost of utilities, but also bring additional profits from the sale of electricity to the general network at a "green" rate. As well as the creation of a modern automated system of control, monitoring and analysis of the microclimate in the greenhouse complex with regulation through a mobile application.

Startup "INNCORN" - will be a powerful agricultural holding not only in Ukraine but also abroad: it will unite organizations from around the world into a single Association of Farmers.
