Robert Tex: Begins

Project summary

Idea:

I became interested in graphic literature as a teenager and thought about what might be on the domestic market, the result at the time disappointed me, because there was no demand for this art, but over the past few years everything has changed and this topic is becoming more more relevant. Since 2017, many publishing houses have appeared in Ukraine that translate Western publications: Marvel, DC, Dark Horse and others. However, none of the domestic comics have become cult enough to be recognizable to absolutely everyone, because most domestic comics are political in nature, which is not interesting for the target audience of this format, so the desire was created to create something cult for Ukraine.

4. It is planned to publish in Ukrainian and English, as the ideal scheme would be to work for Western readers.

Briefly about the plot:
The events take place in a world with its own geography, where life is very close to the western (no national signs will be mentioned) The main character's name is Robert Tex. He works in a stock exchange office as a qualifier, and does not cope with his responsibilities because of which he has to stay overtime to call clients who have refused him 100 times. At night, a thunderstorm begins caused by experiments with quantum phenomena, where time is a subatomic particle. Particles of time charge the glass of the window in which this lightning struck. Tex suffered from fragments of this glass, which got stuck in his body and later showed the ability to tear time and space. The protagonist will have to meet with a living embodiment of time, which will give him an idea of how global the problem he is and how to solve it.
