Sunflower oil production (hydrogen gas)

Project summary

• There are no creameries in the Kyrgyz market, since the production of vegetable oil requires the use of natural gas, and the price of natural gas is quite high. And for this reason, oil production becomes unprofitable. Due to the lack of domestic oil, the windows of grocery stores were filled with oils from the EAEU countries. The requirement for vegetable oil is 35,000 tons per year.
• It is planned to build a modern plant for the production of sunflower oil in the free economic zone in the city of Bishkek. This plant will carry out the production of sunflower oil using hydrogen gas. The use of hydrogen gas will result in significant cost savings and a more competitive price in the market. Within 2-3 years, it is planned to cover more than 70% of the demand for sunflower oil and the profitability will be about USD 2.5 million per year.
• A full start-up of the plant requires US $ 500,000. The payback period of the project is 12-16 months. I am looking for a partner investor for the joint implementation of this project with a 50/50 share.
