ART UA is a social project whose goal is to create art, murals, drawings on walls, fences and old buildings in order to create interesting tourist places and update the appearance of the city streets!

Problem description

The project solves the problem of obscene language on the walls by repainting and drawing art, and the problem of poor architecture of buildings associated with their aging and loss of aesthetic appearance. Art works can be of interest to tourists and guests of the city, which in turn will develop two areas of art and tourism.

The project will draw only bright and interesting art, mostly focused on social issues, which should be liked by people (without graffiti, and low-quality or incomprehensible art, drawings should be clear to everyone and not just for the sake of artists or art incomprehensible to ordinary people) , the aim of the project is to improve the architecture of cities, repaint vandal inscriptions and drawings, improve the appearance of old and abandoned houses in a modern style. Within the project, people will be able to unleash their potential, gain experience that can be used in other areas. Project participants will be presented with gifts, both adults and children: caps, stickers, notebooks, T-shirts, etc ..

The project will consist of:

- Selection of participants in the project team;

- From the competition of works, sketches for drawing murals;

- Joint meetings and brainstorms on art and murals among artists (the goal is to make the project community active);

- Search for sponsors for the project in local areas;

- Survey of residents about which murals and where they would like to see, and evaluation of available murals;

- Training by less experienced artists;

- Search for locations for painting murals, problem areas, coordinating them with the city authorities;

- Drawing murals;

- Holding art festivals.

Target audience (consumers of the project): City residents and guests (tourists) aged 14-40, who will review and evaluate the works of artists.

Target audience (project executors): Artists (14-40 years old) men, women who know how to paint murals (artists with experience in wall painting), or artists who want to learn to try their hand at wall painting.

We need money for the following project costs:

  • Paints for painting murals, both in cans and in buckets;
  • Equipment for painting (rollers, brushes, bowls, etc.);
  • Equipment for high murals (rental of scaffolding, cradles, alpine equipment);
  • Payment for the work of artists;
  • Gifts for benefactors from the Common Cost (pots, pillows, notebooks with the project logo, etc.), and gifts for participation of project participants;
